The Prince of the Eastern Region His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz delivered the first group of investors from the entrepreneurs in the region industrial lands within the initiative of "Sanaa" for light industries during its inauguration on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 among Biban Forum, which is held at the Dhahran Expo Center, where the Chamber participates in the exhibition accompanied by a representative of Young Businessmen and Businesswomen Councils, which will continue until Saturday, 6 April 2019.
The land handover ceremony were attended by His Highness the Deputy Emir of the Region His Royal Highness Prince Ahmed Bin Fahad Bin Salman, the Secretary of the region Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed al-Jubair, the Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, a number of members of the Board of Directors and Young Businessmen and Businesswomen Councils of young men and officials in the region.
The initiative of work comes in partnership between the Secretariat of the region and Asharqia Chamber, which aims to provide a range of industrial land at a nominal price to create an investment environment incubator for national light industries.
It also diversifies investments and local industries for young businessmen and businesswomen in the region through an electronic mechanism based on criteria and criteria for selecting the best beneficiary and high governance.
The initiative aims to reach the contribution of the small and medium enterprises sector in the GDP from 20 percent to 35 percent as a translation to see the initiative to be an attractive environment in the incubator industry for entrepreneurs in the Kingdom and contribute to growth and prosperity that is based on its mission to provide facilities on the industrial lands of entrepreneurs in order to support the industrial sector and strengthen the national economy and aims to provide 211 of the entrepreneurs of industrial land.
Any young Saudi man or woman can apply for the initiative in accordance with the general conditions to have a high school certificate and has experience in the field of investment, not to be less than 21 years or more than 45 years.
The applicant can also register through the website and activate the account and fill the feasibility study, then he submits the request, and then will be assessed by the Committee, and then the interview and finally the final evaluation and the result.
At the end, His Highness received a gift from Asharqia Chamber that is presented by the Chairman of the Chamber Abdul Hakim Al-Khalidi.
